Economical Configurations

Sourceport Computing is set up to save valuable time by cost effectively building and configuring your home or small office network (client hardware required) right here in our shop. Clients can later return to pick up their equipment, go home, plug it all in and immediately begin working, keeping things as simple as possible.

This plan works really well for many of our clients as an innovative approach in reducing their cost and saving a lot of time since our OnSite service has been forced into temporary suspension due to economic cutbacks.

In the event that our OnSite service is restored over time, an updated notice will be posted on our site, but in the meantime this benefits clients with considerable savings, if they are willing to transport their equipment.

In addition to setting up different types of networks, we can also assist individual laptop owners with special configurations that are best suited for accessing PUBLIC networks, without permitting intrusion to their own machines by unknown users who might also be sharing connections and/or files within the same network.

Network Configurations Performed In Our Shop:  Your equipment is brought to the shop and configured on our bench - flat rated at: $35 - (per hour) - (typically takes an hour to complete) - (plus parts) - (plus tax).
